The ACAL Environmental Scholarship is dedicated to the Adirondack community, ACAL founding members and military Veterans, whose devotion to the environment continues to inspire future generations.

Adirondack Communities Advisory League (ACAL) is pleased to offer the 2026 Environmental Scholarship to graduating seniors of the Adirondack Central School District in Boonville.

The award of $2,000.00 will be given to a graduating senior who plans to seek further education in the field of: environmental science, ecology, conservation, environmental law, biodiversity, biology, forestry, building science, alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal), animal husbandry, horticulture, or other approved program directly related to conservation, sustainability, and/or the protection of the environment. Seniors must also have a cumulative average of 85 or better.

The Environmental Scholarship was created to honor ACAL’s founding members, and is dedicated to the Adirondack community and our veterans.

The essays will be evaluated and the top three applicants will be contacted for an

interview in early April.

All materials, including an essay, are due to the Guidance Office by March 30, 2026.
